Hotels we own: none

None of the ten hotels belongs to the company behind this guide, and no property paid to appear. The running order reflects our own editorial view of each stay. No resort group manages, sponsors or reviews our copy before it goes live.

Where our revenue comes from

Outbound hotel links can be tracked by referral partners. If a reader clicks one and a reservation is completed, that partner may send the publisher a commission. This is the guide's source of income: readers are never charged and listing spots are not for sale. The mechanics are spelled out under How we are paid.

Criteria for getting onto the list

A property earns its place through what it offers a guest who never sets foot near the gaming area: choice of rooms, swimming and wellness facilities, range of places to eat, how simply you reach it, and which kinds of trip it fits. We read the hotel's own pages first, then compare them with recent public listings, and drop any claim we could not pin down. No marks are handed out, and casinos are mentioned only as present or absent.

Fixing our mistakes

Resorts rename wings, close restaurants and reopen pools. Spotted something stale? Email contact@oceanviewcasinoresort.com, naming the hotel and what has changed. An editor checks each note against the property's own information and amends the entry, adding the revision date.
